Scrolling through your social media feed looking for quick-trip ideas, and it’s all same old, same old? Time to shake things up! Time for a road trip to the most mountainous state in the lower 48 … Nevada! Nevada has more hot springs (300!) and ghost towns than any other state (get spooked and get soaked!). It’s a place where off the grid is redefined, and camel races are a thing.

Venture into this uncharted, wide-open land and explore the otherworldly slot canyons at Cathedral Gorge State Park, or drink in 100-mile vantages while hiking among the oldest living trees on earth at Wheeler Peak in Great Basin National Park. The hiking choices are as diverse as the landscape.

Trek up to ancient petroglyphs in caves peppered throughout the Silver State, journey into the Lehman Caves to see bulbous stalactites, or explore the naturally occurring hot springs hidden just about everywhere. Nevada is just waiting to be explored. Are you ready for a road trip less traveled?
