Lodi Wine and Cycle Spring Adventures

Outdoor adventure and wine country? This combination doesn’t get any bigger or better than in Lodi. Just 90 miles from San Francisco, Lodi is already on the map for its 85 wineries. But it’s the adventures you can pair them with that make Lodi a one-of-a-kind destination.

Miles of newly created bike routes make cycling among the vineyards a pure pedaling pleasure. Rent a bike in Lodi or bring your own, choose your bike route (from easy and leisurely to long and leg-burning), then pedal the flat country roads, sightseeing and stopping for wine tasting or a bite to eat along the way.

Wine isn’t the only thing flowing here: The Cosumnes River goes birding bananas in spring. Go on a guided nighttime river safari to spy wildlife before going for dinner in Lodi’s historic downtown. Ready to taste something new and super bold? With one of the largest drop zones in California, Lodi is a skydiving mecca. That’s a whole Lodi adventure!
