Outside magazine named Bend the best multisport town for 2017, and 2018 is equally spring loaded! This central Oregon mountain town surrounded by the Cascades has outdoor adventures right downtown and just outside of it!

Have fun outside, then kick back in time for happy hour at one of Bend’s 24 craft breweries (yep, Bend is famous as one of the world’s top beer destinations). The ski resort at Mt. Bachelor has one of the longest seasons in the country—often through Memorial Day weekend—and an awesome après scene (check out the umbrella bar, with a retractable roof for those sunny spring days).

The trailhead to Tumalo Falls, a 97-foot stunner, is just twenty minutes away in Deschutes National Forest. Or stay in town and stroll the pathway along the Deschutes River, check out cool shops (no sales tax!), and drink in the sunset while sampling beers in Bend’s popular Old Mill District. Drive or fly, spring for Bend this year!
