Yosemite's New Explorer Cabins at Tenaya Lodge

A private cabin in Yosemite tucked among sugar pines? Yes please! The brand-new Explorer Cabins at Tenaya Lodge make your next Yosemite getaway even more relaxing.

Each standalone cabin has a small kitchen, deck with lounge chairs, two bedrooms, and all modern furnishings, including televisions in the rooms—for those who just have to know the latest score on the Giants game. But we’re betting you’ll just want to sink into nature here!

There are firepits (and s’mores kits) scattered among the cabins and a beautiful pathway that winds alongside rushing Big Creek.

You get to use all the amenities up at the main lodge (pool, spa, dining), then retreat to the forest and the privacy of your own cabin.

During the day, venture out to Mariposa Grove for a hike among sequoias, the world’s biggest living trees. Then get some quiet time at your cabin or with a massage at Ascent Spa up at the main lodge.

On starry nights where the air is crisp, gather around one of the many firepits and get your s’mores on (there’s no shame in getting some chocolate all over your cheeks!).
