As the most mountainous region in the Lower 48, Nevada is made for people who prefer their pit stops to be peak hikes and state parks. It’s also a place where getting soaked is desirable: Nevada has more natural hot springs (300!) than any other state.

Sink in and point your toes towards the gorgeous outdoors surrounding you. Road trips are also about the people you’ll meet. Nevada locals are as open as the landscape. The cool, creative individuals here make social media posts more colorful than the sun setting at Valley of Fire State Park. As Nevada’s oldest and largest state park, it’s a hiker’s paradise, with red sandstone formations like iconic Piano Rock and 3,000-year-old petroglyphs.
