Buckle up, we’re going on a road trip! Spring break for San Bernardino County—home to a large portion of Route 66. Famous highlights include Wigwam Village (recently made extra famous by the animated blockbuster Cars). These teepee-shaped cabins were once all across the country, yet only three villages remain, including Wigwam Village #7 in San Bernardino. When it’s time to relax, sink your toes into the soft sands of Pirate Cove Resort. Stay in a beachfront cabin on the banks of the Colorado River in Moabi Regional Park. Sip beverages from the riverfront patio, and find outdoor adventures right outside your door. And no Route 66 adventure is complete without stopping at roadside icon Emma Jean’s, a throwback to good old-fashioned diners serving delicious comfort food. This spring break, go the classic route. Route 66 is calling.
