It's All About Pumpkins!

Fall Harvest Visit to Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark

Underwood Family Farms is in Moorpark, and its pick-your-own crops are alway fresh and delicious! But that’s just the start of the fun during Underwood’s Annual Fall Harvest Festival, which goes through October 31 this year (2025). This upcoming weekend (October 25-26) the theme is All About Pumpkins. NOTE: You have to get tickets online for weekend visits.

Wander through a corn maze, listen to live music, roam the cornstalk labyrinth, feed the animals, hop on a wagon ride, and then check out all the food vendors. The farm store sells already harvested fruits and vegetables, just in case you didn’t find what you wanted in the fields. Definitely more fun than a trip to the grocery store, and the veggies taste better too!

Underwood Farm is located at 3370 Sunset Valley Rd. in Moorpark. From CA-210, merge onto CA-118 westbound, and then CA-23 southbound. Exit onto Tierra Rejada Rd. and turn right toward Moorpark. Turn left onto Sunset Valley Rd., and then follow signs to the farm. Free parking; admission varies by date. Check website for ticket prices and current crop schedule. Fall Harvest Festival lasts through October 31, but the farm remains open afterward. Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Leashed dogs are welcome at the festival, but no dogs in the pick-your-own fields.
