Glamp Camp

Auto camp accommodations in Santa Barbara County

So your idea of camping is barbecues, beach cruisers, and better-not-have-to-pitch-a-tent? Say hello to Autocamp! (Or what we call Autoglamp.) Set right in downtown Santa Barbara, Autocamp in Santa Barbara has five vintage Airstream trailers renovated into rather luxe accommodations, equipped with a mini kitchen, natural bath products, and cozy places to sleep. Retro Astroturf lawn with Adirondack chairs and an electric grill make it perfect for a cookout under the towering oak tree draped in carnival lights.

Use the two complimentary beach cruiser bikes to explore Santa Barbara’s bustling State Street on your way down to the beach, a 3-mile pedal away. In the morning, enjoy a fresh pot of local Handlebar Coffee, packed away in a mason jar for your brewing convenience. And head across the street to pick up breakfast provisions at Our Daily Bread bakery. The gooey bear claw and flaky spinach cheese croissant are delicious.

Santa Barbara Autocamp is located at 2717 De La Vina St. in downtown Santa Barbara. Rates range from $175-$300 per night, with a two-night minimum stay. Dogs up to 75 pounds are welcome in four of the five units with a $50 pet fee.
